Welcome to EventMate! These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website located at www.eventmate.com (the "Site") and any services offered by EventMate, Inc. ("EventMate," "we," or "us") through the Site, including any mobile applications or features (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Your Use of the Services EventMate provides a platform for event organizers to create, manage, and promote events, and for attendees to discover and register for events. By using our Services, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any activity that occurs under your account.

2. User Content The Services may allow you to upload, submit, store, send or receive content ("User Content"). You retain all rights in, and are solely responsible for, the User Content you submit. By submitting User Content, you grant EventMate a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, copy, modify, distribute, publish, and process such User Content for the purposes of operating, promoting, and improving the Services.

3. Intellectual Property The Services and their entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof), are owned by EventMate or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

4. Prohibited Conduct You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities while using the Services:

   • Violating any applicable law or regulation;

   • Using the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose;

   • Harassing, abusing, insulting, harming, defaming, or impersonating others;

   • Posting or sharing any content that is false, misleading, fraudulent, or obscene

   • Using the Services to transmit any viruses, worms, or other malicious code

   • Attempting to interfere with or disrupt the Services, servers, or networks connected to the Services;

   • Modifying, adapting, translating, or reverse engineering any portion of the Services.

5. Termination EventMate reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to all or any part of the Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. EventMate does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Services or the servers that make them available are free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the Services at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability EventMate will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Services, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages, even if EventMate has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions may not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to you.

8. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold EventMate, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your use of EventMate, your violation of these Terms of Service, or your violation of any rights of another.

9. Changes to These Terms of Service We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time. If a revision is material we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
